Communication is everywhere!
I often ask people what they want to communicate that’s different than everything else? Why is their product important, and what else needs to be communicated? I do this because we live in a world where people are flooded with communication everywhere! Think of it when you walk down the street. The cars communicate a brand, the stoplights communicate roles, the people talking on the phone communicate words!
Communicate right the first time!
When you see a product being communicated wrong, are you likely to give it one more chance or do you go on and forget it?” I can’t point this out too many times: Forget about budgets or time, when you want to communicate, then make sure that you do it right the first time! And that everything has been tested before going live! People have so many choices today, and if they don’t get the communication right the first time they will move on to the next choice.

As a consultant I can ignore some of the company’s rules, hierarchy and unspoken words, I’m not a part of the “company spirit” and therefore I can do my work and point things out, without being afraid of my job or status! What I do is making a communication plan/strategy to whatever the product is, and within this plan I look though the whole company line. When doing this I come up with a communication plan/strategy that fits the time limit and budget to the clients need
